Public Speaking Anxiety

Public speaking anxiety is a common fear that many people have. It may involve giving a speech to a large group of people, a presentation during a meeting, or going for a job interview. There are many ways to overcome public speaking anxiety. One of the best methods is to prepare ahead of time. Make sure you write down what you are going to say and practice it in front of a mirror. Make a list of all the possible questions that you may get asked and be prepared for an answer. If you are confident about the subject that you are presenting in your speech, you will have less anxiety because you will know how to answer any question that is thrown at you. When practicing in front of a mirror, make sure your body language and facial expression are in a confident manner. Stand tall and straight, do not slouch or fidget. Make sure you talk slowly and loudly so everyone can hear you.
