It is a real shame the local pharmacy in town is closing down but they are unable to compete with the pharmacy that is in the new superstore that has opened up recently. They are able to sell everything that the local pharmacy does at a cheaper price and of course ninety nine per cent of people are going to go where they don’t have to spend as much money and no loyalty will ever come into it. I for one would rather keep local businesses going but my efforts alone will not have any impact, just a shame that more people do not think the same as I do. I go there every week for my prescriptions and also to get my potassium pills. The nice lady behind the counter told me that I may as well go and buy potassium rich foods instead from the superstore as they will be cheap to get.
