Safety for the Young Rider
As a mom, I was especially worried when my teen daughter asked me about getting a motorcycle. I knew that riding can be a dangerous proposition, but since I had ridden in my younger days, I also knew that it can be a lot of fun. So, I looked for ways to minimize the risk. I made sure she had formal training and learned to ride from a certified instructor. I insisted that she got all the right safety equipment and I didn’t buy the cheap stuff. I know that you get what you pay for and her safety is worth every penny I spent. I was especially impressed with Kevlar jeans. She’s great about using the equipment every time she rides so I feel a lot better about her safety now. I know she is a careful rider and that her Kevlar jeans will help protect her if she falls or has to dump the bike to avoid a collision.
