You can always hold your camera horizontally or vertically. From a composition perspective you have to wonder when you should be doing which? The answer to this – is that you should be doing both. By taking both images you are often going to give a different look and feel to the image. As GTA wedding photographers are aware in the heat of the moment when you’re racing against time they make forget to take both compositions but it is to your benefit. As an example, a vertical composition may show a person standing in their office, but a horizontal one would show their colleagues around them, or an office door to the left. Obviously if you’re taking a picture of something tall like a skyscraper it is likely going to be hard even with the widest of lenses to take the horizontal, but where you can make sure you are doing both. You can always crop down the horizontal later if you don’t like the surroundings!

Some would say the ones with the most awards would be a sure bet, and they’d probably be right. However, there’s no doubt about the quality of photographers that Anchorage produces, as Alaska poses a great canvas for professionals from all over the world to come and exercise their talent; many end up staying for longer as the list of things to do and places to see seemingly never ends. With so many top photographers in one place, not to mention the resident pro’s, it’s easy to see some of that talent rubbing off as professionals learn from and inspire one another providing a great platform for budding and amateur photographers to rub shoulders with the greats and pick up a few tricks.
I was up late last night flipping through the channels on the TV when something finally caught my attention – an infomercial. I usually do not like infomercials as I feel that the products are not what they make them seem. The lady was talking about name tags and name badges. She was showing examples of all the different types of name tags which come in a brushed aluminum material and come in either silver or gold. She also showed name badges which come in white, silver, or gold. Custom text can be digitally printed onto the name tags and name badges. The woman was showing people modeling the name tags and name badges as there are different ways of fastening them onto your clothing. You can choose an old-fashioned pin type fastener or a magnetic fastener. The magnetic fasteners reduce the amount of damage caused to your shirts, as compared to the pin type fasteners.
Graffiti is a form of artistic expression however it also damages other peoples property. When used in a none damaging form such as Julian Beever’s use of chalk for his drawings. It creates works of art for everyone to see and admire. There are several other graffiti artists that also choose chalk to express there artistic vision such as Edgar Mueller who paints his master pieces on city streets and sidewalks in Germany or Kurt Wenner from Michigan. Also look at the banksy hitchhiker piece as an example of Banksy’s own thought-provking work.
The problem is most graffiti artists do no think of the damage they are doing to someone else’s property. In Washington state it costs ever tax payer 5 dollars a year to clean up the Graffiti this may not sound like much but that is 35 million dollars a year that could be used for other programs. In my op ion Graffiti is a legitimate form of artwork as long as you are not damaging other peoples property or Damaging government owned property or vehicles.
My brother had a birthday a few weeks ago and I decided to give him pet paintings. He is really crazy about animals and dreams to be a vet one day. In our house and in the yard we have a cat, a dog, a hamster, a rabbit and even an aquarium with fish. That’s why pet paintings were the best present for him. He was crazily happy when he opened the package with the present and saw the pet paintings inside – I think that we wanted to start crying, he was so happy. He called all his friends on the phone to tell them what amazing present he got – pet paintings. His friends were very happy too, because they knew what pet mean to him and how does he feel with pet paintings as a present. Years after that, he told me that this birthday was one of the happiest days in his life and the pet paintings the best present he has ever got.
